🎬 CASTING CALL – Local Feature Film “St. George”
We are casting local Missoula-area talent for the upcoming independent feature film St. George, shooting this fall. No prior acting experience is required. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a meaningful and artistic project.

Kids (Ages 9–14)
- Approximately 8 featured roles
- Non-speaking but visible and important throughout the film
- All backgrounds and personalities encouraged
What to Prepare:
You don’t need to prepare lines. Instead, come ready to play and participate in simple theatre games. Wear comfortable clothing and bring an open attitude.
Adults (18+)
- 8–10 featured roles
- One speaking role; all others non-speaking but featured in a key AA meeting scene
- We are seeking a range of ages, looks, and lived experiences
What to Prepare:
Please come ready to share a short, personal story from your own life (2–3 minutes). Something honest and meaningful to you. Something that only in the safest of spaces would you share with others. Ideas of theme: growth, learning, struggle, epiphany, shame, guilt, rebirth, etc.
- You do not need to memorize it.
- Focus on living through it in the moment, not “performing” it.
- Your story doesn’t have to be autobiographical necessarily — if it’s created, it should still feel emotionally true.
- You will be invited to share it in an improvisational “meeting” setting.

Course Description: Media Training Center, with support from Rocky Mountain Rigging, is excited to announce an Introduction to Stagehands in-person course. Montana needs over 200 trained stagehands this year to support our growing music scene. This course equips learners with the foundational skills and practical knowledge needed to thrive as a stagehand. Normally, $300 but $100 until Nov. 1
Get trained, get in the database, and get employed.
The courses offered over the weekend are:
- A focused Introduction to Stagehand course with an emphasis on training will focus on everything from safety protocols and crew communication to technical equipment handling and stage setup.
- This course is an online, self-paced course that takes on average 5 hours to complete
- Cost: $100 (normally $300)
Upon completion, students earn a digital badge and are granted access to an exclusive online database of Montana stagehands, simplifying the path to employment.
