Course Description:

Media Training Center is excited to announce Rapid Training Courses in the Film and Media Trades that will enable Montanans to quickly gain the skills needed to join the state’s fast-growing Film and Media industry.

The courses offers

1. A focused Introduction to Production course with an emphasis on training to become a Production Assistant. This PA course will focus on film lingo, equipment names, paperwork, and walkie-talkie protocol. 

Course Description:

Media Training Center is excited to announce our online Rapid Training Courses in the Film and Media Trades that will enable Montanans to quickly gain the skills needed to join the state’s fast-growing Film and Media industry.

These Film and Media Rapid Training Courses are offered online for self-paced learners. It takes an average of 10-15 hours with 10 modules. 

The courses offered over the weekend are:

1. A focused Introduction to Production course with an emphasis on training to become a Production Assistant. This PA course will focus on film lingo, equipment names, paperwork, and walkie-talkie protocol. 
2. Cost $500
3. Upon completion, receive a virtual badge and go into our database to share with hiring film/media producers.

What: 

1. A focused Introduction to Production course with an emphasis on training to become a Production Assistant. This PA course will focus on film lingo, equipment names, paperwork, and walkie-talkie protocol.    
2. A focused introduction to the Stagehand course. This course equips learners with the foundational skills and practical knowledge needed to thrive as a stagehand. It covers everything from safety protocols and crew communication to the handling of technical equipment and stage setup.                                 
   1. These courses will be covered in the classroom
   2. Cost: (FREE) for high school students who qualify.
